Intra-district: Window opened December 16, 2023
For families who reside within the boundaries of our district and are interested in having their child attend another school within Monrovia Unified during the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, we invite you to explore the Intra-District transfer process. These transfers are subject to available space at the requested school and specific grade level, with parents assuming responsibility for transportation.
Inter-district: Priority window opens January 26 - June 30, 2024
The Inter-district application is for families who do not reside in Monrovia Unified School District and would like to enroll in MUSD. Per E.C. 46601, requests submitted for enrollment in the 2024 - 2025 school year up to 30 calendar days before the first day of school (August 14, 2024) will receive a decision within 14 calendar days. For requests submitted after school starts, a decision will be shared within 30 calendar days of submitting the request.
Current Year School Transfers (2023 – 2024): Open Year-round

The Current Year School Transfers Application is for families interested in having their child attend another school within Monrovia Unified (Intra-District) or families residing outside of MUSD (Inter-District) during the current school year 2023-2024 and would like to enroll in MUSD. These transfer requests are subject to available space at the requested school. Parents assume responsibility for transportation.
Student Release to Outside District: Available Year-round
