Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Welcome to Monrovia Unified's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Info Page!

The LCAP is a dynamic three-year plan serving as a roadmap for achieving positive student outcomes by outlining goals, actions, services, and expenditures tailored to address state and local educational priorities. It's our opportunity to transparently share the story of how, what, and why specific programs and services are chosen to meet the unique needs of our students and community.

Our LCAP is built upon 10 key local priorities, each crucial to fostering a thriving learning environment:
  1. Basic Services
  2. State Standards
  3. Course Access
  4. Support for Expelled Youth
  5. Support for Foster Youth
  6. Parent Involvement
  7. Student Engagement
  8. School Climate
  9. Student Achievement
  10. Student Outcomes
The Whole Child Resource Map below illustrates how each priority intersects with the Conditions of Learning, Engagement, and Student Outcomes detailed within the LCAP, providing a comprehensive view of our efforts to support every student's holistic development.
