Citizens' Oversight Committee

The Board of Education established an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee in accordance with Education Code and applicable Board policy to ensure bond proceeds are expended only for the school facilities projects listed in the Bond Project List.

The District now seeks interested community members to become part of its Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC). The purpose of the COC is to keep the public informed of the District’s expenditure of bond revenues and to report on the expenditure of taxpayer funds to ensure they are spent only for permissible purposes. The District anticipates the COC meeting from 4-6 times per year.
