Citizens' Oversight Committee
The Board of Education established an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee in accordance with Education Code and applicable Board policy to ensure bond proceeds are expended only for the school facilities projects listed in the Bond Project List.
At the March 8th Board meeting, the Monrovia Unified Board of Education approved the following community members to the Measure MM Citizens’ Oversight Committee:
- Jason Willoughby
- Albert Clegg
- Gary Schaeffler
- Carolyn Noonchester
- James Mendez
- Terrence Williams
- Janet Wall
Duties of this committee include:
- Monitor the progress of Bond projects.
- Receive and review copies of Bond projects' annual performance and financial audits as California State law requires.
- Provide information to the public on the progress of Bond projects and expenditures of Bond funds.
