Schools are evaluated on their implementation of key PBIS components, including clearly defined behavioral expectations, systems for teaching, reinforcing and acknowledging positive behavior, consistent use of data to inform decision-making, staff involvement and support, effective interventions, progress monitoring, and ongoing efforts to strengthen and improve PBIS implementation.
