The Monrovia Unified School District (MUSD) credit rating has increased over the years. This is great news for our schools, budget, and taxpayers. On October 1, Moody officially assigned MUSD the Aa3 Rating! The rating applauds the district and cites its “prudent fiscal practices.”
A great credit rating can help make every dollar go a little farther. It signals that our district is a safe investment. This lowers interest rates. This rating will create substantial savings over repayment terms.
What is Moody Rating?
A Moody's rating is a credit rating that evaluates the creditworthiness of an issuer or a specific debt obligation, such as a bond. Moody's ratings use a standardized scale, from Aaa to C, with Aaa being the highest quality.
