The Monrovia Unified Board of Education invited students from our Community Adult School and Adult Transition Program (ATP) to lead the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance. Chia Yin Li, Panusporn Lek, and Tran Le (first picture) are all working on their American citizenship at our adult school. Ana Mares and Joseph Anaya (second picture) are in the ATP and are helping out around the district office. They all did a fantastic job starting the meetings with the pledge.

The Board also got a sneak preview of “13” The Musical a week before Clifton Middle School, in partnership with Centre Stage Inc, put on the big show. A group of around 30 kids sang and danced their hearts out in their “13” shirts. If you want to see a quick clip of their performance, you can check it out on our MUSD Instagram page.
