International Student Program

Thank you for your interest in the Monrovia Unified School District (MUSD) International Student Program.  MUSD accepts applications from International Students applying for grades 9 - 12 for a maximum one-year public high school experience.  We welcome applications from International Students and value the cultural diversity and individual gifts that each International Student brings to our District.  We have had students attend our high school, under the F-1 Visa, from China, Germany and Sweden.

The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for International Students to experience the history and culture in America as well as improve their language skills and broaden their social horizons.

International Students, enrolled in Grade 12, can earn credits toward high school graduation or possibly earn a high school diploma.  The District will assist F-1 Students in navigating through college applications as well as prepare students for college in the U.S.

For those International Students who attend our high school in Grades 9-11, and are interested in continuing their high school education in the U.S., the District will assist them in transferring to a private high school.

Monrovia High School (MHS) is Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Certified

by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
