California Education Code §§ 48980, 48981 requires each parent be notified of the code sections relating to students attendance, discipline, safety and penal codes. This notification takes place at the time of registration or for the first semester or quarter of the regular school term. In addition to the information contained in each handbook, copies of Board Policies and Administrative Regulations and/or further explanation may be obtained from any school and/or district administrator.
